A wonder in Funchal streets with a qualified local guide. Starting with a visit to the market place with its multiple colours: flowers, fruits, vegetables and fish.
A look at an embroidery atelier where you will see how embroderies are made ,a tradition that takes you back to the XIX century.
Then it s time to immerse in the flavours of the old town ,experiencing how the madeira cake is made and trying it with a glass of Madeira wine. Here will get to see the painted doors, a work done since the year 2011 by a group of artists in order to renovate and give life to the oldest part of the city.
Knocking in a craftsman door will see how traditional boots and hats are made. The tour finishes with you learning how to make poncha.
It s a stroll in Funchal center with 5 different stops where you can get to know the city by the hands of a qualified local guide.
It includes a visit to the Market, a visit to an embroidery atelier, a workshop of madeira cake, a wine tasting and a workshop for poncha drink.
